This is a hearty, chunky, and a bit spicy sauce. We use our own roasted green chilies and pork sausage for this sauce (hence the spiciness), an assortment of gourmet mushrooms, red wine, tomatoes, and just a touch of cream.
Salsiccia e Funghi
Green chili pork sausage (pork and pork fat, green chilies, garlic, salt, dry spices), mushrooms, red wine, ground tomatoes, cream, salt.
Reheat gently and tossed with short thick pasta such as rigatoni or fusilli. Topped with grated cheese if you want.
